Regarding Tim DeJong, Frontier Barn Homes I first met Tim in 2000 as he was demising a barn in the area of Mount Albert. We were planning a bedroom addition to our log house, and asked Tim to quote construction of a timber frame addition, utilising re-claimed barn timbers. Months later we had an incredible room with cathedral ceilings, views in all four directions, and all those beautifully-jointed and pegged beams. The finishing touch was antique planks from a barn floor, planed and sanded and gleaming. Tim de Jong of Frontier did a wonderful job in the construction of our new Timber Frame car port. We were looking for a unique structure, but one that still complemented our existing home. Tim worked with us each step of the process to ensure that the project was exactly as we envisioned.
